This website is run by OmniMIS Consulting (Pty) Ltd, a company registered in South Africa (registration number 2012/022750/07). This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) governs how we handle it.

What we collect
When you email us or book a demo. We receive your email address, your name if you include it, and anything you write. If you book through our booking page, it also asks for your company name and records the time you chose and your time zone.
When you visit the site. This site does not use cookies or analytics, and it loads nothing from other companies' servers. Our hosting provider logs technical details such as your IP address to keep the site running and secure.
We do not ask for sensitive information, and we do not buy contact lists.
Why we use it
We use your details to:
- reply to your email
- set up and hold the demo you booked
- prepare a quote you asked for
- run the project, if you become a client
We use them only for these purposes. We will not add you to a mailing list unless you ask to join one.
Who else handles it
We use a few service providers. They handle your details for us, under their own security and privacy terms:

Some of these providers store information outside South Africa. POPIA allows this when the provider is bound by data protection rules or contract terms that give similar protection.
We do not sell or rent your information to anyone.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and email details for 12 months after our last contact if no project follows. Client records are kept for as long as tax and company law require. After that, we delete them.
How we protect it
We use providers with established security practices. Access to your information is limited to the people working on your enquiry or project. Our email and hosting accounts are protected with two-factor authentication.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what information we hold about you
- correct it
- delete it
- stop using it for a particular purpose
Email the Information Officer at the address above, and we will reply within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm who you are first.
If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to South Africa's Information Regulator at inforegulator.org.za.
